Barbara Simon and Robin Cale are a mother and daughter who work together as a professional real estate team. With over 35 years of combined real estate experience, this dynamic team specializes in the sales and marketing of homes in the Northern Virginia area.

Barbara and Robin consistently sell millions of dollars in real estate every year and are members of the Northern Virginia Association of REALTOR® Million Dollar Sales Club. Barbara and Robin believe that one of the keys to success such as this is a constantly updated education. To that end, they have worked to attain three of the real estate industry's most prestigious professional designations. Both Realtors hold the GRI designation, indicating that they are Graduates of the REALTOR® Institute, they hold the CRS designation, indicating that they are Certified Residential Specialists, and the ABR designation, indicating that they are Accredited Buyer Representatives. All of these designations are valuable to clients in that they require a rigorous course of study by the REALTOR® as well as demonstrated experience.

Personal Information
Both Robin and Barbara are natives of Virginia, giving their clients the benefit of decades of experience with the area. Robin comes to real estate from a successful career in management. She honed her detail, business and customer relation skills for twelve years in this arena and then moved on to the "family business" of real estate. "My grandfather was a real estate broker and my mother had followed him into that profession," reveals Robin. "I guess it had always been in my blood."

Robin's mother, Barbara was, indeed, firmly rooted in the real estate industry. Her first job was working as an accountant for the local real estate board. She had just come from George Washington University where she had studied accounting and was putting that education to work. Because the board was just forming at the time, Barbara had the opportunity to work on drafting that organization's rules and regulations, policies and procedures. This has given her a unique understanding of the inner workings of real estate and gives her clients the added assurance that their transactions are solid.

Memberships
Robin and Barbara are members of the Northern Virginia Association of REALTORS®, the Virginia Association of REALTORS® and the National Association of REALTORS®. All of these associations uphold a strict code of ethics and ensure that their members are up to date on the latest marketing techniques and legislation affecting real estate.
